Meet Mr. Konstantinos Karavidas
Mr Konstantinos Karavidas is an accredited Consultant head and neck surgeon and maxillofacial and oral surgeon – robotic and facial reconstructive surgeon with over 10 years of experience, practising in London and the surrounding areas. He is an expert in oral cancer and salivary gland diseases, with multiple areas of medical expertise, but concentrates primarily on oral cancer, sialendoscopy and tongue tie, as well as robotic surgery, oral surgery and wisdom teeth.
Mr Karavidas studied medicine at the Medical School of University of Ioannina, in Ioannina, Greece, graduating in 1998. Following this, he opted to pursue dentistry at The Dental School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and was awarded a Doctor of Dentistry in 2002.
Meet Mr. Vаl Sharma
Mr Vаl Sharma is a leading Consultant Dentist and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with over 20 years of experience, practising across London, Ipswich and Slough. He specialises in oral reconstruction surgery, TMJ disorders, skin cancer and regenerative medicine, and is widely regarded as one of the most experienced surgeons in his field in the UK.
Mr Sharma’s academic journey began at Cardiff University, where he was awarded an honours degree in Head and Neck Anatomy and Embryology in 1995. He went on to graduate from the Welsh National School of Dentistry in 1998, before completing his medical degree at the University of Glasgow in 2001. His surgical training was carried out at some of the most prestigious centres of excellence in the UK, during which time he was awarded dual fellowships to the Royal College of Surgeons of England, as well as several awards and prizes in recognition of his outstanding achievements.
Meet Mr. Khemanand Maharaj
Mr. Khemanand Maharaj is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with specialist expertise in head and neck oncology and facial reconstruction, practising as part of the Head2Neck team in London. With a sub-specialty interest in head and neck cancer surgery, he brings a comprehensive skill set across all aspects of maxillofacial surgery, combining surgical precision with a commitment to restoring both function and appearance for his patients.
Mr. Maharaj’s academic journey began at the University of the West Indies, where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He went on to complete his medical training, gaining a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), alongside Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd). He further distinguished himself by achieving Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (MRCSEd) in 2014, and was awarded a Master of Science with Distinction (MSc Dist.) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute.
